Catawba River Basin Trout Fishing Trip

We will meet at Gateway Campground in Whittier, NC on Friday, June 3 and return Saturday, June 4 (times TBA) for a Cherokee Trout fishing trip.  We will spend the night at the campground's bunkhouse with bathroom/shower facility.

All are welcome, but youth under age 12 will need to be accompanied by an adult.  A Tribal permit is the only required license and it is only required for ages 12 and up.  Youth under age 12 are covered under the adult license.

You will need the following: fishing rod with light tackle if you don't have one, let Jason know [704-913-8413], sleeping bag, pillow, towel, flashlight, Bible, sunscreen, bug spray, toiletries, change of clothes. (Boys + River = wet, so bring appropriate clothes AND shoes.)

Cost: $10 for bunkhouse, 4 meals on the road, $10 for Tribal permit (approximately $50-$60 total per person depending on your food purchase) 

Please note: You will not pay for the event through the CTO website, but bring your money with you for the trip.
