Raleigh Chapter Family Work Day

Team CTO, Please put on your schedule to join us in a family outing March 3rd at the Bett's Farm in Kinston. We are planning a work day around the property and having the kids build and install wood duck boxes all over the property.

The Bett's family have blessed our Chapter with the use of their land and we want to make sure we make the land better than we received it. We have a ton of stuff to do and the more people we have the better. We will provide lunch for everyone there as well. 

Below is a list of things we need to complete. 

• Build and install up to 40 wood duck boxes 
  
• Build deer feeding troughs 
  
• repair 2 wooden box stands 
  
• relocate deer stands (several) 
  
• secure all ladder stands with new straps or adjust straps as needed (safety checks) 
  
• Flag all new and old stand locations 
  
• cut new trails and shooting lanes 
  

This is a big task to take on in one day, but with enough people, we can get it done. We will need team leaders for the following:

• Wood Duck Box building 
  
• Wood Duck Box installation - Brent Purdum 
  
• Feeding Trough construction and installation (need to build 3) 
  
• relocate deer stands - Mark Holley 
  
• LUNCH AND SNACKS - Fairfield Family
  

If you are interested in helping with any of these items, please let me know as soon as possible so we can start building our teams. We want your entire family to come and help.

If you want to help install wood duck boxes, you will need boots and possibly hip waders at a minimum.
