This is the 29th Annual Core Sound Decoy Festival. There will be many live demonstrations of various duck hunting techniques. The worlds best decoy carvers will be there carving decoys. Dog trainers will be showing off their best dogs. There will be lots of food and crafts so bring a little extra money so you can indulge. This will be a fun filled day but also very educational.
Bring the entire family to the Harkers Island Waterfowl Museum. Just follow signs. you can't miss it!!!!!!
Joe Dowell will be our personal guide for the entire day. Joe is an active duck hunting guide with lots of skill and knowledge to share with us. Please come ready to have fun and learn. We will meet Joe at the Core Sound Waterfowl Museum, 1785 Island Rd, Harkers Island at 10am.
