CTO Crystal Coast - The Science Behind Red Drum - Sportsmen's Night

Join us this Wednesday August 7th 6:00pm - 6:45pm for a hands-on educational opportunity to learn about the science behind Red Drum. We will meet at the Division of Marine Fisheries at 5285 Hwy 70 West, Morehead City, NC 28557. Brent Griffin and Brooke Wheatley will guide the youth through all the interesting facts about Red Drum and show the kids some ear bones and other items of interest. The information we learn about Red Drum will help the youth have a better understanding of how to target this fish species throughout the year and will be a great session before the CTO Crystal Coast's Bull Red Drum trip scheduled for the evening of August 23rd. A few adults will stick around and get trained in tagging and will receive tagging tools so that any Bull Red Drum we catch can be tagged and released to help with the NCDEQ Red Drum Tagging Program.
