Please join Cross Trail Outfitters for our North Carolina Statewide Tundra Swan Hunt. You must possess a North Carolina Tundra Swan tag to participate in the hunt. If you are interested in attending as a spectator, please join us. All hunters and spectators must register. ALL Youth age 7-17 must be entered into our Big Buck Tournament. It's free to enter.
Updated Swan Hunt 2020 Covid guidelines:
1 - All permitted hunters must sign up online.
2 - All hunters in the blind must wear a mask.
3 - Groups will show up at an appointed hunt time to the site. You will be contacted at a later date for your time to hunt.
4 - No BIG group picture will be taken.
5 - Take your temperature and record three days before the event.
6 - Temperature checks will be done on site the day of the hunt.
7 - There will be no charge.
8 - We still need a check-in and check-out sheet to get an accurate count on birds.
9 - No breakfast or lunch will be served on the hunt site.
10 - No meal Friday night.
All these measures are in place so we can continue to have the Swan Hunt safely and together. We would still like to have a successful event but in a more spread out manner. Please help us with all of the above precautions so everyone is safe and healthy to enjoy their swan harvest.
This outing has become the premiere CTO outing in North Carolina. We hope you all can make it.
Advance registration is required. The location and number of blinds set up will be determined by the number of registrations and swan availability.
We have blocked some rooms at Holiday Inn Express in Plymouth NC for your accommodations but these will fill up fast so please make your reservations early. If you plan on staying at another place, plan on meeting early Saturday morning at the Holiday Inn Express to go to our field location.
