Come along for a 5 day adventure in the North Carolina Smoky Mountains. We will be escaping the hot summer temperatures to head for the high country and enjoying fun activities like whitewater rafting, extreme zip lining, trout fishing, tubing, hiking, paintball, and so much more.
After wearing ourselves out each day we will come together around the campfire for a time of devotion and diving into what God has for each of us on this fun week in his creation.
Our amenities include nice bunk houses with air conditioning, bathrooms, and a nice area to prepare our meals and eat together. We will also be enjoying an onsite paintball course, trout fishing, and clay target shooting.
Parents are asked to drop off and pick up boys at The Gateway Retreat Center 87 Vinewood Circle, Whittier, NC 28789
Outing spots are filled on a first-paid deposit basis and tend to fill up quickly. So please, make your outing reservations early. Packing list and other details like pickup and dropoff times will be sent to you prior to the outing.
Please note, if you opt to pay the $250 deposit by check, it is due in the CTO office within 10 days of signup. If the deposit is not received timely, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list.
Remainder of outing fee is due by July 5th. If outing is not paid for by July 5th, your spot will be given to a person on the waiting list. If your spot is lost, the $250 deposit will be forfeited. Any money paid in excess of the $250 will be refunded. Financial assistance is available through our Catawba River Basin Big Gun Raffle. Participants can earn $5.00 for every ticket sold to be applied towards their outing fees.
