Catawba River Basin NC Youth Day Deer Hunt

This is a special day for youth to get in the woods and get a jump on the season. South Carolina allows youth hunters 17 and under to hunt on this day with a gun for an antlered deer only, and they do not need tags. We will be doing a morning hunt. This hunt is for all youth who have passed their hunter safety education training and are experienced with their rifle. Youth hunters will need a license if 16 or 17, a rifle with ammo, camo clothing, and blaze orange hat and vest.
