CTO Crystal Coast Turkey Hunting 101 Skills Day

Join us for an afternoon of learning and prepping so we are ready for turkey season. Bring the shotgun you plan to use with the shotgun shells you plan to shoot along with the turkey chokes you would like to use and we will pattern the setup to make sure you are ready for the season. shotguns and chokes when paired with different turkey loads can vary significantly so it is important to test the combination you plan to use and alter the variables as needed to get a pattern that you know can drop a turkey. We will be patterning the CTO shotguns and chokes so if you plan to use those it would still be beneficial to see how it’s done and practice with the setup you plan to hunt with. Nathan Rowland will teach some turkey calls, so bring your calls or use ours and learn to call in that big Tom this spring.
